A Step Into the Dark | 
pickI can't help but love this heroine. I'm a teen and young adult fiction junkie. I won't apologize for it either. 💁🏼My biggest pet peeve (personal opinion) is the reluctant heroine. The ones who sluggishly drag their feet the whole series. Well....Donna Augustine made me fall in love with this reluctant heroine. There is so much power and vulnerability in giving up on life and I have loved every minute of this badass chic's adventure!!!
