Running on Empty
Running on Empty: Overcome Your Childhood Emotional Neglect | Jonice Webb
2 posts | 3 read | 9 to read
A large segment of the population struggles with feelings of being detached from themselves and their loved ones. They feel flawed, and blame themselves. Running on Empty will help them realize that they're suffering not because of something that happened to them in childhood, but because of something that didn't happen. It's the white space in their family picture, the background rather than the foreground. This will be the first self-help book to bring this invisible force to light, educate people about it, and teach them how to overcome it.

7 hours and 24 minutes so far. I know I'm not going to even get close to 24 hours this time, but I'm still planning to give it a good go again tomorrow. My brain is really overwhelmed with life right now and my ability to even pick a book and concentrate is severely compromised. I'm disappointed, but it is what it is, so I'm also okay with that #24in48 #24in48readathon #bekindtoyourself

AmyG I won‘t get close either. And it‘s ok. 6y
jmofo Way to be reading! 🖤 6y
CuriousG @AmyG I've never made it to 24 so had been hoping this was my time. Wasn't meant to be 😊 6y
CuriousG Thanks @jmofo - it definitely is harder than I like it to be, but I'm finding ways to work pieces in 6y
