pickWe often believe that the civil rights movement was successful, and we are living in a post-racial America. Reading the words of a founder of the Black Panther party, it is stunning how they were able to defy the police, (following all laws) by arming themselves with rifles and shotguns at airports, Congress, and other public spaces. It seems impossible for any of these events could take place today.
