Noble V: Greylancer
Noble V: Greylancer | Hideyuki Kikuchi
2 posts | 1 read | 1 to read
It is the year 7000 by Noble reckoning, and the vampire rulers of the world have grown complacent. When the Outer Space Beings invade, the Noble warrior Greylancer must pit his skills and magic against the technology of the OSBs, quash an anti-Noble rebellion, and, when he is critically injured, turn to mere humans for help. The Three Thousand Year War of Vampire Hunter D begins here! -- VIZ Media

⚰️ I tried, but I didn‘t like this at all.
⚰️ The plot starts off as one thing & completely deviates onto something that isn‘t remotely related to the initial premise.
⚰️ Political climate is messy & depicted in chaotic ways.
⚰️ Prose can be quite awkward, horribly slow, & rather boring.
⚰️ Greylancer is ridiculously OP & over-the-top, but it‘s the one thing I enjoyed.
⚰️ Brutally violent, 👍🏽
⚰️ Overall not worth it at all.
⚰️ 2/5.

Natasha.C.Barnes P.s. I don't know this book but I like your list of reasons, it's a great format for explaining why it doesn't work for you. 7y
BiblioNyan @Natasha.C.Barnes Over-powered. I ran out of character spaces. 😭 And thank you! I appreciate it. 7y

Next book for the #BDayBookChallenge is the #SFF prequel novel for one of my favourite serials ever, #VampireHunterD. Takes place at the start of the 3000 Year War.
