The Complete Book of Crochet
The Complete Book of Crochet | Elizabeth Mathieson,
1 post | 1 to read
This classic book contains a wealth of crochet instructions and designs. With nineteen chapters including 'Blouses and Sweaters', 'Hats and Bags', 'Tablecloths', and 'Rugs', there is a wide variety of items to make, and with the patterns being of varying levels of difficulty, should suit most levels of skill. This book is great for anyone with an interest in crochet. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.

Non-reading pursuits! This book was given to my great-grandmother and made its way to me via my grandmother. My grandma kept my little hands busy by teaching me to crochet 'scrubbers' at a young age. We made circular dish scrubbing pads out of netting which she later sold at the nearby flea market and gave me my share. I make a blanket for every baby born to friends and family (one is pictured). Soon I hope to find time to learn to knit too.
