Mehso-so

This was a children's book that tells the story of a Young Arthur Conan Doyle's adventures in Edinburgh and the mystery he helps solve. Whilst admittedly it is a children's book I felt it was a bit light and shallow, and there are most definitely better children's books out there. Happy to have read it but won't actively go searching for the next one. There is a good link in this one to The Charge of the Light Brigade. #Sherlocked

nickimags Have you read the Young Sherlock series? 7y

Sarah83 Bought it at the Frankfurt book fair two weeks ago 😍 7y
Andrew65 @Sarah83 When I saw you had bought it, I asked my library to buy it (they don't buy all the books recommended but they did this one). Started by reading Chapter 1 last night. 7y
Sarah83 Do you read physical books or ebooks? 7y

Andrew65 @Sarah83 A mixture of both, this one is an e-book. 7y
Sarah83 @Andrew65 I don't get friends with ebooks. 😂 7y
Andrew65 @Sarah83 To be honest I just get the books in whatever form I can. E-books can sometimes be more instant gratification because you don't need to get to the shop or library and don't have to wait for a parcel to arrive and can even get hold of the book in the middle of the night. 7y
Sarah83 @Andrew65 that's true. But as I have my own library with a great tbr, I don't run out if reading material pretty far. 😂😂😂 7y
Andrew65 @Sarah83 Me either but how many times despite all the books in the house do you want to read a book you don't own or is next in a series that you don't own. 7y
Sarah83 @Andrew65 that's really true and book buying ban is no alternative. 🤔😂 7y
