The conclusion of the Kiss River trilogy is a solid one - going so far as to tie up ends that I didn‘t even realize were that loose! This one focuses on Lacey, and as the title suggests, how she continues to deal with the wake of her mother‘s life. Another great book for #AudioColoring and one that makes me sad to say goodbye to these characters that I‘ve spent the last week immersed with!!

Jhullie I loved these people and was sad to finish the books too. One of my favourite series by far. 6y

Her Mother's Shadow perfectly finished the trilogy set in Kiss River which began with The Keeper of the Light. Lacey O'Neill watched her mother get murdered in the first book and in this final part of the story she finds her own path and learns how to trust and love again. These characters are beautifully written and I will miss my stay in Kiss River...until I return.

I have a Diner en Blanc event on Saturday night which will put a severe dent in my reading time. But I will do my best.

What a brilliant trilogy this was. This one is the last in the series and for me I felt everything tied up nicely and a great conclusion. This author always draws me in and I felt like I knew the whole O'Neill family. This a trilogy that gets better with each books and I'd definitely recommend it.
