From the author of Liars Inc: A small town. A big secret. A deadly game. YA mystery.
Book discussed in my YA reading club at BookMarkPR. She has secrets, one of them is what happened in a hotel. But it seems someone knew about what happened that night & she started to receive threats from an unknown person. I enjoyed this YA thriller novel but I think that approx 100 pages were unnecessary, end was ok with a cheesy long epilogue. We have an interview with author (Skype) and I won another signed copy🤦🏻♀️3.3⭐️
Embry has secrets about her past, and relationship with town hero Luke. But the biggest secret is about what happened at the Sea Cliff Inn. The fire. The homeless guy. Everyone thinks Embry is a hero but that is far from the truth.
Embry thinks she‘ll take the secret to her grave, until she receives an anonymous note—someone knows the truth. Next comes threatening messages, asking her to make choices forcing her to put her loved ones at risk.
