My favorite part of the new office I moved into today— everyone should have a cozy blanket and a basket of books in their space.

Rereading Ovid because my friend is (of course) so we can talk about it. I have this v pretty edition right up front next to my Tristram Shandy ♥️✨

StaceGhost @slategreyskies it makes the books in the back curve a little but I cycle through so quickly it doesn‘t give me any issues— boxy baskets are better lol 3mo

Ovid's Metamorphoses | Ovid

I read a collection of Greek myths when I was nine. I read the Iliad and the odyssey at ten. Various modern interpretations of the myths along with Euripides were consumed later. Good preparation for Ovid.

Rebesta I read this a few years ago. It renewed my love for mythology. 6y

Chittavrtti They are lovely. Yet, I never quite realized how non feminist the myths (at least translated versions were) until reading this edition. 6y
