A.N. Wilson had John Bayley as his tutor at Oxford, which is where he met Iris Murdoch. He remained a close friend of them both throughout her life and it was at Iris's pleading in 1988 that he agreed to write her biography. cinematic portrayal of Iris as a victim of Alzheimer's disease. Instead, he gives us back the fiercely intelligent novelist and philosopher, and shows us a relationship that was deeply loving yet profoundly eccentric and most uncoventional for its day.

Iris Murdoch as I Knew Her | A. N. Wilson

This was the 2nd op shop I visited yesterday. Despite checking the fan in the shop, it was broken when I took it out of the bag! I think I can fix it enough for it to be a spare fan to use to rehearse for my ballet exam which is the Spanish variation from Coppelia Act 2. I forgot my 🪥 & paste because before I left the 🏠 yesterday I forgot to brush my teeth, that is how tired my 🧠 is. I used the salts in the 🛀 last night. Grand total $19.25
