A Picture Book of Anne Frank written by David Adler illustrated by Karen Ritz is a wonderful child-friendly Biography about Anne Frank and her family before they were captured and forced to live on concentration camps. Though this is a said story, it'll still be great to use in a classroom during a history lesson when teaching about the Holocaust. #UCFLAE3414SP18

BriannaR I would use UDL Strategies 1.1-1.3 because (depending on the grade level) I'll show movies and other sources of representation that help students understand what was going on during that time. This is a link that provides many lessons that would go well with this story https://www.scholastic.com/teachers/lesson-plans/teaching-content/we-remember-an.... ESOL Strategies 36, 44, and 48. WendyV I agree @BriannaR that this book should be in a classroom. Every student should learn about Ann Frank, and I love your UDL strategies of showing movies to help students understand that time period! 👍🏻 6y
