At the heart of Black Science's pulp sci-fi rollercoaster ride from planet to planet is the story of a dysfunctional family. Will Grant redeem himself as a father or will his family be torn apart by his obsession with forbidden knowledge?

This is some seriously tripy, out-of-this world fun in which science & magic collide with the fate of the Eververse (that‘s ALL the universes) at stake. Hubris, love, betrayal, hope, revenge & more power a cast of characters who are desperately trying to see their way back to a better future with, thus far, little luck. The artwork is fantastic, Remender‘s writing top notch & this comic is pulp science fiction at its best. Definitely a fun read.
I have one more book in my formerly large stack of new to the library books to preview but before I get to it, I‘m going to read the tagged comic. It‘s a grey, rainy day outside—a weird thing to write since it is more typically a cold, snowy day for us at this time of year—so I‘m going to spend some time off planet with Black Science.
