Prince Bertram the Bad by Arnold Lobel. Genre: F, TS: RA, IR, SR, DR. I think this would be a great book to do with shared reading because it has an implicit theme that children could try and pull out. EL: 7. Show students how to use graphic organizers like semantic mapping and imaging. This book would work well with this because it has a solid beginning, middle and end. #UCFLAE3414SP18

Jeffersleighann This book is about a bad prince, who is the worst of the worst. He is disliked by everyone and ends up upsetting the WRONG person, but it has a good message after the prince has a humbling experience. 7y
