I love this series. So good on the psychological effects of shell shock, and the economic and cultural changes right after WWI.
Great mysteries and great characters.

Pickpick

Thoroughly enjoyed THE GATE KEEPER by the mother-son writers Charles Todd. Complicated and twisting plot and a satisfying conclusion.

If you haven‘t read Charles Todd mysteries you should. If you have, don‘t miss this one. Ian Rutledge (and Hamish) at their best.
