This MF, Caldecott Honor is another story that allows the illustrations to tell the story. The illustrations show a little boy on a field trip to the Empire State Building & meets a cloud who gives him a ride to “sector 7” (where all the clouds are made) they are all different shapes, but are bored of them. So he starts to draw new shapes for them & creates happiness & friendships.

#HopIntoSpring Day 24: I took photos of these fabulous #Clouds that blanketed the Singapore skies two years back while I was in a moving vehicle. It was awe-inspiring. Tagged book is a gorgeous Wiesner title that speaks of the power of creativity and imagination that can soar to the heavens, and yes, #clouds.
