April 2018 was such a good month that most my reads were 5 stars - I marked them with a big ❤️! So hard to choose, but I think the biggest impact was by the Kite Runner and the Broken Earth Trilogy (The Fifth Season - read in March, The Obelisk Gate, The Stone Sky). Loved Sherlock on audio. Comey and American Wolf were surprisingly great.

Here's my #AprilWrapUp. I waited until today bc I had to finish the last tiny bit of Thicker Than Blood. 6 doesn't seem like a huge number, but Serial Killers Uncut was a huge collection of short stories, & Thicker Than Blood was technically a trilogy. Plus two alternate endings that were around 140-150 pages each. So I can deal with that 😊 I also read lots of picture books with Mari this month but don't have them listed here. #HopIntoSpring

I just couldn't seem to get myself together this month, too many distractions and too much going on. That being said I didn't read what I set out to read or accomplish much toward my challenges and buddy reads. I did finish the tagged book and gave it a so-so. Liked the premise but in the end it just fell flat.

April wasn't a great month as far as reading goes. I read four books. Only one of them counted towards a reading challenge (#LitsyAtoZ2018) & I fell behind on my Goodreads challenge. However, I did meet my #CampNanowrimo goal of 15,000 words/15 hours of revision! I'm hoping to get back on track with my reading challenges in May.
