I squealed with delight when these books showed up yesterday. Today, I start my journey to Rome…Rome, Kentucky and can‘t wait! I love this series and I just couldn‘t decide on which book cover that I loved more so I got them both! As a pink girl, both covers appealed to me!

New December Kindle cover.
When I moved a month ago, my apartment was already furnished. I couldn‘t move my library so I packed up the books that I haven‘t read and bought a small bookcase. While I miss my library which is with my sons, I am happy to have this and love my new job as county librarian!
Yesterday, I went to @barnesandnoble. The Christmas things are out and I picked up this ornament and tree topper. Since my move and having a very small apartment, my Christmas things will stay with my sons so this will be my Christmas tree this year.
I also picked up the five dollar cafe book.

Yesterday, I received the sweetest surprise box from @macmillan.audio . Upon opening, I unwrapped three audiobook codes for @norarobertsauthor ‘s The Lost Bride series, a tea cozy, a small teacup candle, and a tin of @harneytea Cranberry Autumn tea. There was also a teacup with saucer however the box was badly smashed and it was broken,😞
This was such a nice surprise and as I move next week to Edenton to start my county librarian job.
I completed the quarterly bingo challenge from the Uncorked Librarian.
Books 136 through 147. I have been reading a lot of the sweethearts alphabet series by Suzanne Ash for an A-Z challenge. Plus, I have been busy downsizing and packing for my upcoming move.

pickNeesha wants nothing to do with hockey players. Lucian is a handyman fixing up her neighbor's house, but he is also a hockey player. This sweet romance is part of the Love in Maple Falls series and such a fantastic story to read! I loved the banter filled with sweetness.

This past Saturday, I attended the Bookmarks Book Festival in Winston Salem, NC. Here is my book haul.

pickThis book! Smiling, laughing and ugly happy tears throughout.
The story line was brilliantly executed and I fell in love with Lanie and Noah. Their love story is so real that you feel it through the pages. This line: “If faith in love were a source of energy, you could power a small planet” grabbed my heart and will stay with me forever. And taking a leap of faith at the end was so perfect.

pickSkating and Fake Dating is book 4 in the Love In Maple Falls series. I adored Bailey & Carson‘s not so fake dating. They were so cute together and really had each other‘s backs. This hockey themed love story is part of the Fall Ice Breakers series and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

National Read a Book Day is observed annually on September 6th. On August 9th, we all celebrated National Book Lovers Day. While these bookish days may seem similar, National Read a Book Day invites us ALL to grab a book we might enjoy and spend the day reading.

New book blanket. I saw this at Kohl‘s and grabbed it either my 40% coupon. I love that it has book genres. I can‘t wait to snuggle in it with the ber months starting.
