Yesterday was #bookstoreromanceday and I had to work at the library so I missed out on all the fun!

Coming home to a box from @kensingtonbooks and @btc_books btc_books was truly a pleasant surprise!

Upon opening it, I received all these books plus this fun summer tote!

Ten years ago, Indy and Sully fell in love. Kids came along and they fell apart. Indy moved back to her family's farm with the kids. When their oldest son wants his dad to attend a school event, Indy reluctantly invites Sully to the farm and the event. Needless to say, this results in a fun, second chance sweet romance story between them as they never really fell out of love.

This month (July) Amazon‘s first reads books allowed for two choices. These are my choices. If you have this perk, which ones did you pick?

I opened up my #stayaction package just now. @bumpinthenight , you spoiled me! I have discovered new authors and can‘t wait to dive into these books. I finished my Jane Austin @lego set today. It‘s now at home on top of my Pride and Prejudice books.

Mailing out my #staycation package today for @bumpinthenight . It should arrive mid week prior to the fourth.

Tonight, I hosted the first @silentbookclub in Durham at @daughterscoffeeandbooks . We had thirteen people show up. We talked about how a silent book club works and how it promotes literary and reading in communities.

By doing this, I am also able to support my local #indiebookshop owner.

I am so happy to see this turnout . You can see some of the books that were read during the hour of silent reading.

I bought this brand new Jane Austin Lego set off Facebook marketplace for $20! I am so excited!!!

Tonight, I attended the library adult after hours summer reading program. They had food, mocktails, crafts and watching the movie Wicked. I bedazzled this book. So fun! 🤩

Thanks to @celadonbooks and @austintaylorwrites for this Zoom tonight about “Notes on Infinity”. This book was amazing and I loved being a part of Celadon‘s read along with my wonderful reading partners.

Book 75 of the year.

This book centers on two college Harvard students, Jack & Zoe. They share a passion for science, working in the same lab with a common vision to develop an anti-aging drug. They become successful, drop out of Harvard & build a start-up company.

We follow our main characters through a soul mate like friendship to lovers, into betrayal, hope & tragedy. Taylor does an amazing job showcasing the world of start-ups, &!how fragile dreams are.

This novella was written with two very different PVOs. I wasn‘t sure what to expect with this story but know that if Chris writes, it is always interesting and good. A story with the two brothers who are so different was interesting but having another person, a woman involved later in the story was amazing. And the ending, having a twist that I didn‘t see coming was brilliant. Another win for readers and thank you, Chris!

Book 74 of the year.

This book explains how we live in an economy consumerism society, and we need to get back to a gift society. I thoroughly enjoyed the author explaining how we reap what we sow; quite literally and the importance of not taking more than we need and to share the abundance.

I loved this book for many reasons. Book 73 of the year. B

June hopeful reads. This is only the physical books. I have some audiobooks and ebooks that I will be reading throughout the month.

Listening to this audiobook to fulfill the second prompt in the Barnes and Noble adult summer reading program. Plus, while running, I saw fresh berries!

This is the second book in the Princess Swap series. It is the story of a Snow White and Sleeping Beauty swap.

I really enjoyed the story swap with fun characters introduced into the stories. The twists make for a fabulous storyline with the main characters.
