Born Under a Lucky Moon
Born Under a Lucky Moon: A Novel | Dana Precious
3 posts | 2 read | 4 to read
Smart, touching, and utterly engaging, Born Under a Lucky Moon is a polished gem of contemporary womens fictionand it boldly announces the arrival of author Dana Precious, who immediately takes her place at the winners table beside Rebecca York, Jennifer Weiner, and Rebecca Wells. Not unlike Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood and other beloved works of southern womens fictionexcept set in the American MidwestBorn Under a Lucky Moon is a story of family, love, murder, sex scandals, and new beginnings that is, at once, intelligent, endearing, and delightfully quirky.

TODAY‘S PROMPT: NO

You can‘t say “NO” to this book.

“If you want to laugh and perhaps compare your family to the Thompson family, I would highly recommend this book. It is a really fun read and also about love.”

Pickpick

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was sweet, funny, and was a truthful portrayal of a West Michigan family. I personally loved all the familiar references to a place I‘ve called home for nearly 55 years.

“ All roads in my hometown lead to water.”
Super cute read, based in my soon to be home town. I just live in the next town over right now, so all the places are familiar. Such a fun read!!
