I highly recommend reading this work. It provides the reader with a deep yet concise understanding of the motivations and emotions of the religion and its followers and welcomes the reader to question preconceptions and existing approaches.

This engagingly written, interesting, informative and eye-opening book is a clear and concise introduction to understanding Islam. It explains what Islam actually is (and what it isn't), how it came to be, its role in world history and the problems it's currently facing. I felt like I'd learnt a lot (and had some erroneous beliefs corrected) and I found the insight into Muslim life genuinely fascinating.
