This was such a quick read and I loved every minute of it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first completed book for #deweys24hourreadathon. This is a very easy story to read, and feels like a story that would have been told from generation to generation, like the old bards would do.
Meh. I don‘t know how I dodged this book through my entire education. Glad I finally read it.
Haven‘t been on here in a while. With work and grad school I haven‘t had much time to read for pleasure. Diving back into it with one of the classics. Also a short one too.
#MOvember #LaIslaBonita this is as close as I can get ... every beautiful island is surrounded by the sea 💙
First thing I did when I woke up this morning - reading time and checking my plant watering-log. I haven't read The Old Man and the Sea in years, but I'm enjoying it so far. 💙📖🌱
I read this book in January 2017:
This is a small novella but it packs a big punch! I love Hemingway's style of writing and his message is a good one. Be persistent in what you pursue and you will eventually achieve that goal. Great story!

Maybe not the shortest, but not that long with 127 pages. I borrowed it from the library when I was a teenager (no idea why). It's the only book by Hemingway I have read. I enjoyed it, although I'm not sure I understood it. Who knows what I would read into it now, 20 years down the road.
