This book was an eye-opening read which laid out a framework for how to think about the origins of addiction, as well as describing a humane approach to people suffering from addiction. Highly recommend this title.

Great narrative writing that leads the reader through what seems like one of the most surreal episodes of the Second World War, due to the jarring numbers of casualties and scale of operations. Great as a window into the desperation and carnage of the Eastern front.

Really enjoyed this book. Provides an epic insight into what it might have been like in Serbia in the early years of the First World War when a tiny Serbia was clashing with the Austro-Hungarian empire.

Great read, not difficult, and relatable at the most basic human level.

If you‘re a RHCP fan this is an interesting read, however Flea doesn‘t go into his time with the RHCP, this book focuses on his life prior to the band forming.
