This was cute, but nothing new. In fact, it felt vaguely familiar to other Kleypas novels I‘ve read before. Kind of like she used the same blueprint. The characters certainly had chemistry, which made the steamy parts fun, but otherwise the writing was just plain boring. I mean, if you‘re not going to dazzle me with the plot, then at least dazzle me with witty dialogue & feisty narration? Mildly entertaining but not a keeper. ★★★☆☆

#currentlyreading | whew, after the week we‘ve had over here in the US, I‘m ready to live in Romancelandia from now until 2021. How about y‘all?
