I loved this book! No surprise! Her Magic Thief series was excellent too! A well-written, rollicking good fantasy tale with a librarian as hero. He chooses to spend his time with books instead of swords. A strong female leader helps make this a fun adventure tale! Definitely recommending to my young readers who love fantasy.

THIS IS SO GOOD!!!! It‘s a MG fantasy/mystery/adventure. The plot is well crafted and it was impossible to put down. I read it in one sitting. The best part is the characters though: snarky, arrogant boy; prickly, intelligent girl-Queen; her perceptive jovial brother. It‘s the MG fantasy trio dream team.
