Thirty-year-old Celeste Hamilton's life is at a crossroads: she has just left a disastrous marriage, and her estranged mother has recently died, leaving the family's rose business in jeopardy. Reluctantly, Celeste returns to the family home, a moated manor house in Suffolk, to help her two younger sisters sort out the estate and revive the business. Having endured the fallout from her mother's narcissistic personality disorder when she was younger, Celeste is filled with self-doubt and crippling insecurities. But she must find the strength and courage to take charge and make some tough decisions to keep the old house from falling down around them. The Rose Girls is an uplifting, tender and romantic story of courage, perseverance and the healing power of family.

I have had this audible on my TBR for a very long time. Why did i wait? This was a good listen. The narrator was very easy to listen to and brought characters to life. The story was believable and the characters were relatable.
It‘s a story of three daughters raised by a manipulative and narcissistic mother. It shows how it has affected their lives.
I look forward to another from this author.

I thoroughly loved this book. A story about family, relationships, and communication, it centers on three sisters and the dynamics set up by their relationships with their difficult (to put it mildly) deceased mother. It felt very personal, as I could draw parallels with my mother. Relatable characters, a beautiful setting, and lots and lots about roses.

This book takes me to 18 hours 14 minutes in the #24B4Monday #Readathon A very enjoyable read about family relAtionships, as the title suggest roses figure prominently in this book. Amazing what damage a bad mother can do but will her effect last after her death?
