My current #audiobook about parenting. I wasn't expecting all of the practical advice throughout but I'm enjoying it! I thought it would be more of a philosophical look at managing children, which there is some of that, but it is real advice and ideas from the author's family and others'. Ps-- my boys are pictured...I'm still in the early years of parenting. ♥️😊

Not every parenting book feels potentially useful yet still entertains while avoiding preachiness...this one does all of that. :) Dell‘Antonia‘s voice is frank, funny, and smart, and her advice is data-based yet personal and flexible. The chapters about morning routines, chores, and discipline were most relevant to my parenting moment, but she covers other topics equally well. I‘ll be keeping an eye out for her NYT contributions now.
