Re-read in time for Kracht‘s Eurotrash. It‘s still one hell of a strange journey with a protagonist I went from hating to feeling an uncomfortable connection with. I feel like being older and knowing a bit more about life made for an even better reading experience.

This is a very special book and not everybodys taste. I liked it the better the more I read, the more I learned about the character. Reading “Faserland“ is a journey through Germany but even more the main characters search for a home.

The main character suffers from a bad case of #wanderlust because it seems like he lost himself somewhere on the road.
