This SF book written and illustrated by Markus Morin is a fact-filled book that is written through the perspective of the Mars rover Curiosity. In the book curiosity guides the reader through her journey on mars and her purpose for going there. Curiosity‘s “character” reminds me a lot of WALL-E! This would be an especially great book for students who are interested in space! Would use this as an LC choice using the following lesson plan from RWT:

This lesson would meet UDL strategy 7.1 optimize individual choice and autonomy by providing students the opportunity to choose the book for LC and choose their role in the LC.
