Enjoyable, quick YA read. I seldom read YA...but I love John Grisham.

This is the second book in the Kid Lawyer series and we enjoyed reading it together at bedtime. My middle school son gave it four stars, my high school daughter gave it 3 1/2. #BedtimeBookClub

3.5 Stars. This is an enjoyable book and I am enjoying the series. Very light and easy reading. However I do feel the Mickey Bolitar books by Harlan Coben has put these books in the shade. A good read for children aged between 10 and 14 I feel. I will continue with the series.

I completed this today only. Read John Grisham for the first time. He can be an amiable choice if you wanna grab a quick thriller. Ike's character in this one proves to be interesting and fun. Check this out to know will Theo be able to save his best friend April when she is abducted at midnight.
3.8/5🌟

I was sure this one would pick up where the first ended, but I was wrong. The case from the first isn't even mentioned until the last two pages. What I didn't like about this one was that it seemed to completely ignore and even change plot lines from the first. That kept me pretty confused.
