pickOne of my favourite books last year. It‘s an epic science fiction but with a bit of a fantasy feel. It plays in the 147th century and the remaining humans are 12,000 years old and immortal. It‘s complex and demands a lot of attention from the reader but I found the story and world captivating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Totally late start on #24in48 today. My third book with books held for me at the library.
3rd book in the readathon. Not sure I'm understanding what is going on but it is becoming clearer as I read more. It is like a future where everything has become both more diverse in terms of types of humans and very stratified and formal socially.
I've heard some great stuff about this, and Tom is a lovely guy, so I was thrilled to see this poster at Victoria station a few days ago!
pickI'd say "pick" but with a warning. It's a Space Opera which very much doesn't explain anything but lets you discover the world along with the story. I spent the majority of the book confused but the prose is beautiful and engaging. It's also very much the first in a trilogy and is only the beginning without a satisfying ending and book 2 and 3 aren't out yet. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
