Mehso-so

Stretched Too Thin is a book for mothers who "do it all". There were some nice points and suggestions throughout but nothing life changing. Also, there are many tips that are wayyyy out of touch with many working mothers (like myself) who work to make ends meet and not for self fulfillment. "Simply hire a housekeeper"...."take a trip to Cancun to relax"...umm nope, not in MY budget. So, ultimately there's too much privilege for my taste.

It‘s refreshing to read a book of this type written by a working mom. A lot of these books are written by stay at home mom and their advice doesn‘t all work for me. Jessica Turner gets the struggle of a working mom and the impossibility of giving every aspect of your life 100%.

Some very good ideas! I already came up with some measurable goals for the rest of the year and 2019.
