My baby read her first chapter book in 2 days! 📖 🤖 The Mighty Robot series is perfect for 1st graders. It‘s so fun that my son loved these at the same age. 🩵

“Jump, Robot, jump!“ “Now stomp, Robot, stomp!“ There are great verbs like these that are mentioned throughout the book.

This would be a great independent reading series for children in grades preK-3.

Speculative fiction. First book of the series was published in 2000. This is a great speculative fiction series for children to read. This story is about a boy, Ricky, and his best friend a robot. Having a big friend like that comes with a lot of responsibilities for Ricky and they are late to dinner again so they get consequences from Ricky's parents. They then find themselves sending bad guys back into space and saving the day.

#jubilantjuly day 6: #awholenewworld
I love how my 6yo has entered into #awholenewworld of reading in the past school year. He's gone from reluctantly reading beginner readers to confidently (and willingly) reading easy chapter books and even tackling nonfiction by himself! And best of all, he happily reads out loud to his brother.

Bookzombie They are so cute! 7y
TEArificbooks My oldest son loved that series and Magic Tree House series when he was at that stage in reading. 7y

RealLifeReading @mdm139 we've read a few Magic Tree House books but can never seem to find them in order at the library. Will have to remember to put a hold on it instead! 7y
RealLifeReading @readinginthedark sometimes when he's reading a book to himself, his brother will complain to me: "I can't hear him reading!! He needs to read with his mouth!" 7y
RealLifeReading @LibrarianRyan I hadn't heard of this series before today. Have seen the Dogman books around though. Will have to check them out! Thanks! 7y
LibrarianRyan @RealLifeReading dogman are graphic novels and range between Captain underpants and Ricky Ricotta on the "potty" humor, if that is something you look out for. 7y
readinginthedark @RealLifeReading 😂That's so funny! Isn't he reading just for me? 7y
