This book summarizes the lives and accomplishments of five women who were early pioneers in aviation. Even though this book is geared towards ages 9-12, I enjoyed reading about all the brave woman who were courageous enough to learn to fly in the early days of aviation. Most of them were turned down to learn just because they were woman. One thing they had in common was their tenacity to reach their goal and accomplish what they wanted to do.

Andrew65 If it‘s geared to 9 - 12 year olds I need to get hold of this book for school, to inspire some of our girls! I can feel an assembly coming on focused on these individuals! How long is the book? 6y
EadieB @Andrew65 it‘s only 48 pages with large print. 6y
