So I had to switch my audiobook wasn‘t into my earlier one so I‘m going back to this series as I listen to the first book a week ago I think. Also one of the narrators is one that I like

I loved this book so much. It‘s a great “fantasy” book, because in reality I‘d never like Ruger- but in this book he‘s so freaking hot and it just works 😂 #romantsy #romance #mcromance

CoverToCoverGirl Agreed! I loved the whole series.. waiting on the next one. Big sigh.. (edited) 6y

I totally get why people didn't like this book. The H is sexist, the rules of the MC are sexist, and there is a crazy amount of slut-shaming.
The reason I didn't bail and why I ultimately like this book is because Wylde is completely aware of the rampant misogyny and calls it out. In every (good) sexual encounter both parties are enthusiastically consenting, and the h sees people working in the sex trade as being worthy of respect and happiness.

I totally forgot I reread this sometime in October, so it wasn't logged in my Goodreads. (I hate that I can't add multiple reads from the app) still as much love for this book the second go around.

ContraryMary Calling it book 92, even though it should be back a few. 7y
