pickAvgust DemÅ¡ar is my #favouriteAuthor from Slovenia and he is crime/mystery writer. This is his 10 book in the series and all of them are set in my hometown Maribor. In this one (English title would be Church) inspector Vrenko‘s challenge is murder of the Bishop. Simple prose, but good characterisation and interesting twists. #MemoirsAndMysteries (Book isn‘t in Litsy database and English title is my translation)
