pickWell, that was interesting 🧐. I‘ve read quite a few Patrick Gales and picked up this one somewhere along the way. It happens to be his first novel, and it felt like it. Published in 1985, it features a number of gay characters including 15 year old Seth (presumably Gale). It felt a bit disjointed and amateurish, but the potential is there. #bildungsroman #favouriteauthor

Yesterday I finished One True Loves. I was crying while reading it. It was so emotional and amazing. Great questions about meaning of love, life, and second chances. Gave it 5⭐ and Taylor became my favourite author. This is the second book by her that I gave it 5⭐ I couldn't start a new book, I became so emotional. Hope I can read today.

In this one (English title would be Church) inspector Vrenko‘s challenge is murder of the Bishop. Simple prose, but good characterisation and interesting twists. #MemoirsAndMysteries (Book isn‘t in Litsy database and English title is my translation)
