We‘re in Mary‘s head this time. I miss Bob and Mo, but our vampire girl—sarcastic, cynical, and fatalistic—drags us through an impossible suicide mission in the Cthulhu-ridden US, and the ride is dark but fun. I would‘ve been disappointed if this was the real end of the series—because POV—but there are still two more books in the same universe, and the sequel series is ongoing, so I‘m cool.
