5 posts | 19 read | 4 to read
Janner, Tink, and Leeli Igiby thought they were normal children with normal lives and a normal past. But now they know theyre really the Lost Jewels of Anniera, heirs to a legendary kingdom across the sea, and suddenly everyone wants to kill them. In order to survive, the Igibys must flee to the safety of the Ice Prairies, where the lizardlike Fangs of Dang cannot follow. First, however, they have to escape the monsters of Glipwood Forest,1 the thieving Stranders of the East Bend,2 and the dreaded Fork Factory.3 But even more dangerous are the jealousies and bitterness that threaten to tear them apart, and Janner and his siblings must learn the hard way that the love of a family is more important than anything else. 1. All possessing very sharp teeth. 2. Murderous scoundrels, the lot. 3. Woe! From the Trade Paperback edition.

As my kids are getting older, doing a lot of reading what they read. We love the Wingfeather saga!!! I love how it‘s been teaching my kids to stick with a story. Even past one book!

I‘m listening to these books and really loving them. I found the pace faster here, book 2 of the series, and the emotions between the siblings very authentic and honest. Nothing ever seems to turn out how you want it to, and I‘m hoping for a good ending, eventually in book 4. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been trying to get to chapter 26 all day so that I had something to post for #novemberbythenumbers. Finally made it, and now it's time for bed. Good night, Littens!

hwestfall I have loved Andrew Peterson as a musician for years. I adored this series. It is great in audiobook form too! 6y
smilingshelves @hwestfall I haven't listened to his music yet, but I plan to. This series is so wonderful. I'll have to reread it in audiobook form someday. Thanks for the tip! 6y

Artham is undoubtedly my favorite character in this series so far. So noble and good.
