5🌟 We've waiting 4.9 novellas for some of this and boy was it sweet. As @Texreader put it, it certainly was satisfying, but it was so much more than that, too. At the end of this book I was trying so hard not to cheer out loud (it is 1 am after all). If I wasn't in love with Sarah Woodbury's writing before, I would be now. As it is, I am even deeper in love with this author than I was before.

This was a satisfying ending to the five novellas about King Arthur‘s war against Modred.

SO EXCITED for this one after the last one. I'm hoping for a great ending to the series with this bad boy!!! If nothing else, this is my favourite cover (for what that's worth). lol HERE. WE. GO!!!

This fifth of five in the series didn't grab me quite the way the others did. But of course, I had to know how the story ended.

His blood hummed with the music of the bards.

This is the reason I'm proud to be part Welsh. They're fierce, including (or maybe especially) the women.

Back to my normal book choices. Historical fiction with a touch of fantasy. Yay!
