The Waiting Hours | 
pick4/5🌟 Mitchell's prose were calculated and the way she weaved the story really worked for me. The characters were well developed and I liked how she entwined the three main narratives to unfold the story. It is an engaging look into first responders. Provides a vivid picture into the lives they live with their job. Loss and heartache, despair and dread, trauma, happiness and relief. You can tell this was really well researched.
