I didn't enjoy this graphic novel. The whole story feels underdeveloped and disjointed, and I forgot entirely that it was following the main character's journal so the author didn't make good use of that idea. It felt like this was just too focused on being edgy and shocking and forgot to do the rest of the story building. There's also a lot of unconsensual kissing in this. #LGBTQIA #Comic

I am not okay with this book. Yeesh. On my hook: raglan moss stitch jumper for my kid, in Blue Ocean Cotton from Hobbii.

I enjoyed this graphic novel. It deals with a 15 year old girl who is dealing with death, family, friends and her sexuality. I seen it was a Netflix show I'm sure it will be a little different since some of the content in this book was both mature content and a little dark.

I've seen a couple people around me read this book, and a friend of mine recommended me this graphoc novel. The story spirals into heartbreak and hopelessness, and with the power that Sydney has, it portrays the emotional confusion that teenagers feel, while also presenting the struggles of admiting what it truly feels not to be okay from within and outwards. I will definitely look into Forsman's End of the Fxxxing World.

Binged and read this yestesday. The Netflix version was way better than the graphic novel.

Somewhere between a reluctant pick and a so-so. Strange and dark. This really is quite disturbing for such a short read, but I think that is also where it sort of succeeds. It captures the hopelessness that can come with depression and struggling to figure out who the hell you are, and how sometimes, things end badly. This is not great, but it is powerful.

This got very dark really quickly...
