Pickpick

I took my time savoring this book of Raymond Briggs‘ reflections on life and especially on growing older. The book is a collection of columns he wrote for the humorous British magazine The Oldie. His dry English wit and clever observations are a delight!

ljuliel Sounds like a cute book. It could also be the title of my life . 🛋 5y

Got a kick out of this illustration in the tagged book. It was for a written piece lampooning a newspaper article stating that artists, musicians, and writers have trouble fitting in to the prosaic world because they are “creative sociopaths”. 😆
