At first I was annoyed by its difficult dialect and in-your-face religion, but the surprisingly strong and complex female characters really won me over. The ending was too abrupt and there was a TON of eye-rolling melodrama, but overall pretty good. Note: The edition I have is so weird! It is a huge trim size and has no page numbers! Bizarre.
