A fairly good graphic novel medical memoir. Maybe not the one I would recommend first, but a great addition to the sub genre

"I wasn't afraid to be born -- I won't be afraid to die..."
I just did not get into this one at all.
I didn't like the first story that much, but this cracked me up. Curses, Harvey Pekar, curses!
A lovely experience of storytelling, of weaving past and present, love and loss, clarity and mental illness. The illustrations are minimal, which adds to the tone of the tale. A good read.
