Exploring and understanding the emptiness felt by housewives in America during the 1960s, this little book is a really interesting read, especially if, like me, you don't know a great deal about the first two waves of feminism. 5 stars!

My full review is up on my blog now 📚

Smarkies I just read this as well - my thoughts are similar to yours - I did prefer the first essay as well. 4y

First book of the year and it is a short one for #nonfiction2020 . This is a couple of essays from her book - the Feminine Mystique. An interesting read as I did not realise how the women's rights movement had actually progressed / regressed in the US.

May pick up the full book at some time.
