Pickpick

Based on the hidden (lesbian) life of the author‘s aunt and namesake during the McCarthy era. Lucybelle's unparalleled editorial skills and scientific knowledge as well as her work with a visionary scientist who extracted the first-ever polar ice cores (120,000 yrs of climate history)is a backdrop for her struggle to find love, relationships and balance in a queer life at a time when it could have cost her everything.

Sallyo5 As I only recently, (last year,) was made aware of my youngest daughter‘s sexual orientation, which is certainly fine with me & since she is a professional & an adult not my choice anyway. I have looked much farther into her & her partner‘s lifestyle. They are so. Brave, Both So Lovely inside & our. And more importantly finally happy in love💞 6y
mreads @Sallyo5 We've come a long way since the 50s, I think life is short and we should find love and happiness in whatever form it comes and not judge others choices. Anyway how wonderful your daughter is in a loving relationship 😁❤ 6y
