Welcome to Litsy!

For the first time, I could actually tell where this story was going, but it didn't take away from the fun. Again it was nice to see the characters interact in different ways, and the addition of romance was sweet. I think I preferred the prior book in terms of humor, but I really liked the plot and resolution of this volume a lot.

I love Bad Machinery so much, and this is one of my favorite storylines. A nuanced and subtle take on adolescence and how everyone matures at a different pace, with a healthy dose of selkies. John Allison is one of the finest storytellers out there, and if you haven't read Bad Machinery start NOW.
