It was interesting to learn about everyday life in Gaza. This was written several years ago, so it doesn't cover anything recent. I It was part political, social history and part memoir, but it's so short it doesn't cover either aspect as much as I would've liked. Still glad I read it though.

This short book provided great information on the challenges of living in Gaza as a woman. The writing is great and the atmosphere of living in a war zone under the leadership of religious fanatics is chilling.

This book was a wonderful peek into the experience of a refugee and what war does to a community and family and individual.
