Usually when I belt in to read poetry, I am prepared for there to be at least 3 out of 10 poems that I could live without. But this is a solid collection of hard hitting poetry that addresses harsh realities of being female, queer, and dealing with mental illness and societal pitfalls. Definite trigger warnings, but, at least for me, very much worth reading. Each poem has movement, purpose, and eloquent emotion.

LoverofLit I've really been impressed with Button Poetry authors. Rudy Francisco's Helium is really great. I'm currently reading A Love Song, A Death Rattle, A Battle Cry and really liking it too!
