Pickpick

Excellent information and basic recommendations for teen literature. The comments about what kind of readers might like certain kinds of books were insightful. I also found quite a few books to add to my own to read list! The extra recommendations about websites and other books that have recommendations in each genre were particularly helpful.

Anyone participating in this year‘s Hub Reading Challenge? The teen services division of the American Library Association, YALSA, has a reading challenge every year encouraging librarians (or teens or anyone interested) to read 25 of this year‘s award winners by June 30: http://www.yalsa.ala.org/thehub/2019/02/12/2019-hub-reading-challenge-begins-tod...

I participated informally last year but I‘m going to really try this year #hubchallenge19

emtobiasz #librariansoflitsy #hubchallenge #ireadya @Bkwrm7 I think you did last year‘s. @RebL @thebookishtype15 We were talking earlier about ways to keep up with newer kids and teen books— I used this challenge last year to cover a lot of bases with pretty recent titles. 6y
thebookishtype15 Oooh thank you for tagging me. This seems like something I'd want to do! 6y
Bkwrm7 @emtobiasz Yes! I attempted it last year and as usual didn't finish. Gonna try again this year and see how I do! 6y
