From 1942-1945 she was kept hidden, sometimes inside the wall, in a cottage outside Trondheim. Gestapo used the neighboring cabin as a sanctuary for partying and shooting practice. Betzy lost her entire family, but survived the war as a traumatized woman. #holocaust #history
